When you are looking for a motorhome, you might notice that there are two types on the road. One is a travel trailer, which is pulled by another vehicle. Another is a 5th wheel. Each option can allow you to set down your RV, and you're also able to live in each.
Size
Fifth wheels can be larger than travel trailers. This can make it more difficult to drive a travel trailer. However, you may find that a 5th wheel does not provide you with an adequate amount of space. The 5th wheel comes with an upstairs area, which provides you with a place to sleep. Many fun features can be added to a 5th wheel that make it more similar to an apartment, such as a fireplace, dishwasher, and a washer/dryer. Weight
The lighter weight of the travel trailer means that you'll use less energy when transporting it. Travel trailers are likely to be purchased more often because they are less expensive. You might want to see travel trailers as the default, while a 5th wheel would be an upgrade you might consider if you can afford it and if you have a good reason to purchase one.
